Our mission is to foster the development of vibrant, sustainable, communities in Plumas County.

We bring together donors, nonprofits, and leaders to address the pressing issues facing our rural communities. We provide strategic grantmaking, community leadership, and donor services that allow us to leverage resources and maximize impact. Our commitment to collaboration and innovation ensures that we are constantly adapting to meet the evolving needs of our community.

The Almanor Foundation Wildfire Relief & Recovery Fund

Wildfire Burning House

Supports the rebuilding and revitalization of communities impacted by wildfire.

The Dixie Fire burned 963,195 acres. The fire raged from July 13 to September 22. 1329 structures were destroyed of which 744 were homes. Disasters were declared across four Counties: Plumas, Lassen, Tehama and Shasta.

The Almanor Foundation works with other funding partners to provide grants that benefit the people, businesses and communities that have been affected by this fire.
