PUSD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs provide students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners. At Plumas Unified School District and Plumas Office of Education, we strive to offer hands-on opportunities in the classroom, in businesses, and virtually when necessary. There are 15 California Industry Sectors that we develop our Career Pathways from within our four high schools. We are able to complete this through annual state and local grants, district funding, local contributions and partnerships.
Why Your Support Matters
Students represent our most promising, locally rooted workforce—they are already housed, already connected to the community, and eager to build their futures here. By investing in their training, certifications, and work‑based learning opportunities, we can build a resilient workforce for Plumas County’s long‑term economic stability.
Each investment and partnership ensures that every student—regardless of school or pathway—has access to educational opportunities right here.
By making it possible for you to fund a specific programor school, we ensure that support reaches the students where they live, while The Almanor Foundation provides the administrative backbone to make it happen.
