LACF has been a non-profit in the basin for over 20 years mainly raising money for the “bandshell” (now called “Music Under the Stars”), the outdoor concerts held at LACC Rec I June through September. LACF also hosts the annual Labor Day weekend arts and crafts faire and was instrumental in raising money towards the purchase of the Emergency Broadcast System.
Each year they do “community giving,” asking organizations in need of funding to apply for financial support, which is also one of the missions of LACF to give back to the community.
