LACF has been a non-profit in the basin for over 20 years, mainly raising money for the “bandshell” (now called “Music Under the Stars”), the outdoor concerts held at the Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC) Rec I from June through September. Please note: These concerts ARE NOT open to the public; it is only open to LACC Members and their guests.
LACF also hosts the annual Labor Day weekend arts and crafts fair and was instrumental in raising money for the purchase of the Emergency Broadcast System. Each year, they conduct “community giving,” inviting organizations in need of funding to apply for financial support, which is also one of LACF’s missions—to give back to the community
