Career & Technical Education Innovation & Support Program

A Strategic Investment in “Future Proofing” Career Education in Plumas County

The Almanor Foundation’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) Innovation & Support Program is a philanthropic initiative that brings together educational institutions, employers, and donors to strengthen Career & Technical Education across all Plumas County schools.

Our mission is simple: to ensure every student, whether enrolled in a Charter or Public school, has access to high‑quality training, certifications, and career pathways that lead to opportunity right here at home.

Why Your Support Matters

Students represent our most promising, locally rooted workforce—they are already housed, already connected to the community, and eager to build their futures here. By investing in their training, certifications, and work‑based learning opportunities, we can build a resilient workforce for Plumas County’s long‑term economic stability.

Each investment and partnership ensures that every student—regardless of school or pathway—has access to educational opportunities right here.

By making it possible for you to fund a specific programor school, we ensure that support reaches the students where they live, while The Almanor Foundation provides the administrative backbone to make it happen.

Where We Are Today

Plumas County Charter Schools and Plumas Unified School District have opened dedicated funds with The Almanor Foundation to receive direct support for their programs and pathways.

TAF’s Countywide Innovation & Support Fund ensures that gifts made today benefit all schools—Charter and Public—through shared resources, equipment, and countywide partnerships.
