Description: Nature Journaling is a worldwide movement that integrates art, science, and nature exploration. Nature Journaling makes you a better observer, naturalist, and opens a world of beauty and discovery. You don’t have to be an artist to Nature Journal! You will learn how to keep your own Nature Journal and make using it a habit. As John Muir Laws, aka Jack, would say, we’ll be putting in some “pencil miles” and doing some guided/prompted drawing.
What to bring: A notebook or journal, graphite pencils, colored pencils, a clipboard, and any other preferred art materials, a water bottle, and sun protection. Dress in layers, and wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes.
This workshop is for adults only and is part of a series by our partners at the Feather River Land Trust. For our Kids Nature Journaling workshop, see below.
