TAF is pleased to welcome Sally Elloyan as the new Executive Director of the Foundation bringing an extensive background in organizational management.
Sally, a native Californian, spent most of her adult like in Northern Nevada. A graduate of San Diego State University, she entered the insurance industry and specialized in fraudulent insurance claims. Upon moving to Nevada, she used her investigative skills to pursue a career as a financial and background investigator for the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Sally has led both domestic and international investigations. She has trained multiple gaming jurisdictions and spoken at conferences in the United States, Great Britain and Singapore. She retired as the department’s top administrator.
Sally and her family have vacationed at Lake Almanor for over 20 years and made the permanent move in 2019. As the Executive Director of the Almanor Foundation Sally is looking forward to utilizing her administrative skills and experience serving the community that she has come to love. [email protected]
Sally replaces Susan Bryner, who led the foundation as a volunteer executive director for the past two years. Susan continues her work for the foundation as vice-chair of the board.
Joining the board is Dave Korol bringing an extensive background in finance and money management. Dave graduated from UC Berkely and received his masters from Duke University in business administration. Currently, he is a consultant and helps private financial technology companies market their products to public equity investors’ high technology companies. He has been coming to Lake Almanor for 20 years, is married and has three children.
TAF welcomes back Katherine Sansone, an original founder of the foundation and board member. Katherine became a “local” in 2019 but has been visiting Lake Almanor since her childhood. As the owner of SANSONE+ PR & MARKETING, she offers a wealth of business experience, has a critical perspective and offers lots of enthusiasm for her community. She is editor of the LACC newsletter, marketing director for the FRTA and chair of the Lake Almanor Community Foundation.
The board welcomes Sally, Josh and Katherine and looks forward to working with them as the foundation continues their mission of leading their community to help enhance and enrich the lives of those who call Plumas County home.
