Susan Bryner Named TAF Executive Director 

Susan has lived in the Lake Almanor Basin since 2002 and a local business owner since 2003. Susan holds a master’s in psychology and prior to moving to Lake Almanor had an educational psychology consulting firm while teaching at CSU Fresno and Cabrillo Community College. She is the outgoing President of the Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of the Feather River Tourism Association. As a 2019 founding director of The Almanor Foundation, Susan has been a key player in the organization and operation of the foundation. In accepting the new role as Executive Director, she says, “Our community and the development of opportunities for our families, our youth, and our businesses has been my passion for many, many years. This new position offers me an opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to me.”
